Personal Training

Medium Intensity Interval Training (MIIT)
MIIT engages the entire body in a dynamic, functional total body workout, mirroring the movements we use in our daily lives. This flexible and multi-level program introduces dynamic techniques, allowing you to tailor speed, intensity, technique, and duration to suit your fitness level.
Yoga
With over six years of experience, Joanne has dedicated herself to sharing the transformative power of yoga and its teachings. Leaving the corporate sector behind, she now focuses wholeheartedly on guiding others through their yoga journeys. She specializes in traditional yoga sequences and emphasizing proper posture with variations to accommodate individual needs. Joanne’s classes promote strength, flexibility, and inner peace, fostering a harmonious mind-body connection. Joanne offers three different classes, suitable for all levels.
Exercise for Stronger Bones and Better Health
As we age, the risk of osteoporosis (weakened bones) and sarcopenia (muscle loss) increases, leading to a higher likelihood of fractures and falls. Poor lifestyle choices, inadequate nutrition, and lack of physical activity can accelerate this decline. However, regular exercise can play a vital role in maintaining bone health and preventing these issues. Exercise has been shown to slow bone loss, enhance bone density and strength, and strengthen muscles. Resistance training, such as weightlifting, challenges muscles and bones, making them stronger. By placing stress on bones, these exercises help improve bone density and slow bone loss.
Starting in April, our Personal Trainers will develop customized exercise programs based on individual bone density scan (Dexa) results obtained externally. These tailored regimens aim to improve bone density and overall health through consistent training over a six to eight-month period. To participate in this specialized program, you can enrol in our sought-after Personal Training package, which offers 10 sessions for $890 (subject to prevailing GST). This comprehensive approach combines professional guidance with personalized exercise plans to address specific health needs and promote long-term wellness.
Water Bag Workouts: Transform Your Fitness
Water bags are innovative, water-filled weights that enhance your workout by creating an unstable load. The shifting water challenges your stabilizing muscles, which engages your entire body. Water bag training improves strength, stability, and functional movement for everyday activities. This low-impact exercise reduces the risk of injury and helps enhance coordination.
